  51. Yes, we're still confused.  You have to be a lot more specific about
  52. exactly what components are involved.  I think you are assuming that we
  53. can infer facts that are not in your message.

  55. In a subsequent message you stated that you were accessing AIX from an NT
  56. system with communications software called Hummingbird (or is it the other
  57. way around?).  Are these all the pieces of the puzzle, or are other
  58. computers involved too?  The reason I ask is that I don't see how Ctrl-\c
  59. could ever have got you back to the C-Kermit prompt in the scenario you
  60. seem to be describing, because you haven't said anything about using
  61. C-Kermit to make a connection from AIX to anyplace else?
